Heels are the devil

I wore heels last night and I managed not to kill myself. I was carrying two pair in my hand putting them away and i was the idiot who had to drop the heeled part of one show on my toe. The toe next to my big toe on my right foot. Seriously it really hurt! My toe is bleeding and throbbing....OUCH!!!!!!

I'm confused

So I was so anxious all week and I couldn't sleep well at all anticipating hanging out with my friend from Valentines day weekend. It was really nice. I was suppose to go to this persons place but their roommate was sleeping on their couch so he came to my room. Since my roommates hog the living room, we watched two movies in my room. Of course I have no furniture in there other than my bed and an empty bed, so we were lying my bed just talking the entire I think 4 and a half hours that this person was here. I'm going to be honest he smelled really really really really really good, and my bed smelled really really really really really good after he left. Ha ha. So it was a really fun night, no nothing romantic happened. I'm going to be honest, I was really surprised. I was totally expecting it so I was kinda disappointed in terms of that kind of stuff. I can't say that I had a bad time though it was really fun, just to talk about whatever. I think we have quite a bit in common, I would think if we didn't it would have been super awkward. I'm just confused I guess, as to why he didn't make a move... boys are just weird. I think he had fun with me, you'd think if he didn't have fun it would have been awkward. I had fun....

I'm working at the rink right now, pretty sure 5 -6 hours of sleep isn't enough.

I regret not bringing a can of pop with me, and I'm a moron and I don't really carry money with me, I think I need to ask my supervisor if I can borrow 1.50 for a pop

It's Thursday

They say it's thirsty thirsday, which I no longer desire to participate in.

Anyways I spent like 10 min trying to get my silly contact lens in my left eye today....I survived though. Hah!

I don't have anything new going on in life other than I feel like a smitten 13 year old girl....i'm a real winner right there.

Singles awareness day aka Valentines day

First of all unrelated to the title of the entry, my one roommate is being super nice to me. We don't see each other often, but we're getting along she's turning out to be really cool. The other one I still think is a butt head.

Also I'm watching Star Wars episode II: attack of the clones or whatever it's called. Man that is an awful movie, let me tell you that.

So it was valentines day weekend this weekend. Let's start with las Sunday.

We all know I have en eye injury so I have been forced to wear my glasses and no make up all week. I was on eye drops too.

Friday was the Masquerade dance ( like a semi formal dance) hosted by my college's radio station ( my good friend is the president) So I went to the hockey game with my Norwegian friend ( she's an international student from Norway) and then i went to the dance, I got all jazzed up. I um wore one contact lens, I'm going to wait until monday to try the contacts. So i was half blind that night.

So we had an after party. I made some new friends and I sorta met a guy. Yeahhhhh..... Um i'll tell that story if you want in person. Then I got locked out of my room/building and that was interesting...

So then it was a good friday night let me just say that, despite the 4 hours of sleep.

So I went home Saturday did nothing and then watched Madagascar 2 it was so freakin' good. Then I got like 11 hours of sleep. I work up today did a bunch of reading, and my brain now hurts. I'm back at school just procrastinating and watchign the god awful star wars movie.

So that's my Valentines Day!

Yeah I had a drunken knife fight

Wait? you really thought I got into a drunken knife fight? Seriously???? WOW...

No i got really drunk Saturday night and I didn't properly take out my contact lens, so i woke up sunday beyond hungover and with a bright red and very painful right eye. I thought it was the eye infection back again so I rushed to urgent care. I have a cut in my conjunctiva ( the white part of my eye) and I have to wear my glasses for a while and can't wear makeup just to be safe.

My friend and I decided it might be fun to tell people I got into a drunk knife fight with a guy at brothers and then again at the light rail station.

So i had two people ask if that was true, I nearly rolled over laughing.

Then I was like, do people really think that about me? A. I never carry concealed weapons ...ever! B. I don't get into drunken fights C. I especially don't get into drunken knife fights ...at bars/the light rail station...

Seriously people...

Update on Life

Sorry I haven't been writing lately, i've been really busy with everything.

So I'm starting to actually read for pleasure. I know you're thinking, 'Annika have you been smoking something?' My answer is no. I haven't.

So I have the following books to read for my own enjoyment. We'll see how quickly I read them...

'He's just not that into you.' ( the book the movie is based off of)
'Confessions of a Shopaholic' ( the book the movie is also based off of)
'Hypochondria Can Kill' By John Naish. It's this guy who has collected a bunch of odd health reports and all this stuff about, 'the perils and syndromes lurking in modern society'
AND las but not least
'Stuff White People Like' by Christian Lander it's funny.


In other news I'm doing ok in school...
I moved into a new residence hall last night. I think I'm going to like my new roommates. I'm so excited to have a kitchen and my room is big. I still have to figure out how to arrange my room. My freakin dresser sucks.... yeah. But I have a bad ass closet and stuff so I have alot of space.

I single handedly moved all my crap yesterday and I am pretty sure I'm sore today. I have to work later and then force myself to stay for the mens hockey game and work on my sociology project. Yep.
