Verbal diarrhea Part 2

I talked to my friend and I told her what happened on Saturday, she told me sometimes I drink too much, which I already knew. But I think she was right in that she said she and my other friends in this group of friends would be will willing to help me when we go out and keep track of what i drink. That is what friends are for. Seriously I was a little annoyed when she told me when i drink I always drink to much because I already knew that, but when she offered to help that made all the difference. Seriously it did.

Right now I'm not sure when I'm going to drink again, I'm going to challenge myself to not drink till the end of the school year ( senior party, spring music jam, and spring dance) I think I will do so much better in school. Also maybe I should just take one day at a time and any time i feel like going out I will write a list of the risks i will be taking by that and then weigh the options. I'm pretty sure the risks will be a lot higher if i go out. So we'll see what happens.

When my other friends last summer got accusing of me drinking too much at one time, they just criticized me for it. They didn't bother to offer to help me. They just said you are an alcoholic. That didn't solve anything.


Yeah, so that's that.

I'm leaving for Denver on Thursday to compete for skating. I'm excited! I have to head out now I have a lesson with my coach.

Verbal diarrhea

It sucks when you have verbal diarrhea when sober....

It sucks even more when having drunk verbal diarrhea...

It sucks more...when you don't remember what you said but know it was bad and you said it to the wrong people....

Yes...Verbal diarrhea sucks...in any form

Yeah I'm actually getting some work done here at work. Well right this second I'm not doing any homework, my brain kinda hurts so I'm giving it a rest. But I'll get back to reading for sociology in a bit.

In other news, My Effing roommate who is leaving is so damn lazy she can't take her trash out, so i'm pretty sure that by the time i get back to my room tonight her garbage will still be in the bathroom. Also I invited her over to my room to watch tv with me yesterday afternoon and she said yes. It was good till she spent the entire time texting and making plans with her stupid friends by making phone calls and ignoring me. If she was going to do that she should have stayed in her room. I don't need to be ignored like that...it's rude. Then I get back from skating and there's this fucking mysterious thing in the toilet! I'm too freaked out to flush it and cause a clogg. So i text her and i'm like whats in the toilet...she's like..."oh i cleaned the floor with toilet paper." Ok that did not look toilet paper...i told her that when she came back she would have to flush it. Finally she comes back late ( i'm assuming it was like 12:30-1ish...I had gone to bed at like 11ish because I was exhausted....so i ended up pounding on the wall really loud hoping they would shut up....I think they did finally. I still didn't sleep well because i just kept waking up...i had a bad dream at one point.

In other news, it's day 8 of being at the rink. Since Monday the 12 I have spent at least 2 hours or more at the rink to either skate or work. Yeah i'm kind of sick of the rink.

Tomorrow I will find out if I can move to another building.

I'm really tired for some reason, I don't think i've caught up on sleep from my Guatemala trip.

Moment of maturity...or realization

Ok, so I partied it up last night and all i gotta say is ...wtf. Seriously I have no idea how i managed to drink so damn much last semester. No wonder i didn't start losing weight till i stopped drinking. Anyways I don't think i'll be partying it up that much this next semester. I'm glad I don't have class tomorrow so I can do my homework tomorrow. I'm a little hung over and all i'm really trying to focus on right now is drinking alot of liquids and rehydrating. I think I might have learned my lesson about last semester.

I'm getting better

I'm getting better, the itching has gone way down. I'm off the Benadryl. My cold is going away. I think it helped i got like 9 or so hours of sleep last night. Um.... What else should I mention.

I'm going to be moving into another residence hall, since my beloved roommate has decided to leave due to academic reasons. I'm moving also because all my friends live in the other building. I would most likely move into a 2 bedroom 4 person unit. Which is actually cheaper than my 2 bedroom suite that I'm in now. I have a very slim chance of moving into a 4 person 4 bedroom. But as long as I'm close to my friends I'm happy. I haven't gotten the official word on moving yet I had to contact the hall director, but i e-mailed him. I first met with the director of housing etc. and she said i'll be able to move. So i'm actually bringing a bunch of stuff home tonight that i don't really need at school anymore. Like extra clothes and stuff that i really don't wear. Spanish dictionaries I don't need, just to make the move easier.

I got my group for my small group com project for the semester. I'm with 4 guys, I don't know the one guy but the other 3 are hockey players so i guess we've encountered each other in passing...like at the rink etc.

I need to get down and busy on homework, thank god this is a 3 day weekend.

In other news, I have a cold...thanks alot MN weather. My itching seems to be going down a bit, I'm not taking the Benadryl today because of what happened at the rink yesterday. I took a Claritin D for my cold....or whatever it is. Maybe i'll be able to focus better in class without the Benadryl.

Also I'm going to see a psychotherapist/psychologist. ...not my usual psychiatrist...but one who talks with patients about "issues" they have.

Should be interesting.

bed bugs

that's all. I got bed bugs in Guatemala and I have over 70 bug bites. ... i'm ready to claw my skin off. I'm drugged up on benadryl I can't focus. I just discovered not to skate while on benadryl...it leads to me being insanely dizzy! So it's not a good start to my last semester

I'm back...

I should probably save all the details of my trip to tell whoever is reading this in person. I think it's way more interesting. But I will say this, it was an amazing experience. Huge culture shock.

I'm having a really hard time adjusting to MN ...i also just learned that my roommate is dropping out of school.

I have to be at the airport at 5 am...EWW

My winter break officially ended today. I had class for Guatemala. I'm pretty much all packed up for the trip, and yeah. I turned in my research proposal which is basically looking at how the US has been involved in the indigenous issues of indigenous Guatamalans. I think it's a little to broad right now but the prof said she can work with us on tweaking stuff.

So I am leaving the house around 4:30 i'm guessing ha ha. I'm gonna try to be up by 3:45, so yeah.

So long for now, I shall write when I return!

Oh I also graduate from college 5 months from today...yuck!
